The Ancestors of Rishi Sunak Belong to Which Province of Pakistan?

Rishi Sunak will be the first British Prime Minister of Asian origin to be elected as the head of the Conservative Party, whose ancestors are from Pakistan.

Rishi Sunak’s ancestors belonged to Gujranwala city of Punjab province of Pakistan, his grandfather Ramdas Sunak migrated to Nairobi from Gujranwala in 1935 while grandmother Sahag Rani also belonged to Gujranwala.

Rishi Sunak’s father, Yashvir Sunak, moved to the UK from Nairobi in the 60s, where Rishi Sunak was born.

Apart from this, Rishi Sunak’s wife Akshata Murthy is an Indian citizen and is considered among the richest women.

Rishi Sunak graduated from Oxford and has also worked in an investment bank.
