Melbourne: Pakistan’s all-rounder Shadab Khan made a record in the final match against England as part of the T20 World Cup. He holds the record as the bowler who has taken the most wickets on behalf of Pakistan in T20s. In this order, former player pushed back Shahid Afridi. Shadab Khan took the wicket of Harry Brook (20) in this match and took a total of 98 wickets in T20s.

Shadab Khan, who equaled Shahid Afridi’s record of 97 wickets in the match against Bangladesh in Adelaide, broke Afridi’s record with this match. 24-year-old Shadab achieved this feat in his 84th match. Afridi surpassed Umar Gul’s record of 85 wickets in 98 matches. Meanwhile, Umar Gul is the highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in T20Is after Shadab Khan and Afridi. Saeed Ajmal (85) is fourth with wickets while Harish Rauf is fifth with 72 wickets.
