A Delhi court expressed its anger over not arresting Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in a money laundering case.
According to India Times, a Delhi court has strongly opposed Jacqueline Fernandez’s bail and the Enforcement Directorate faced tough questions in a Delhi court. The court questioned the investigating agency as to why the actress has not been arrested yet. While other persons connected with this case are currently in jail”, on which the Enforcement Directorate told the court that “Jacqueline Fernandes tried to flee the country and she is not cooperating with the investigating officers”.
“We have never seen Rs 50 lakh in cash in our entire life, but Jacqueline looted Rs 7.14 crore for entertainment,” the Enforcement Directorate said. An alert has also been issued at the airport to stop Jacqueline Fernandez, who is currently on interim bail, the court will pronounce its decision on Friday on her bail plea.
It should be noted that the actress is accused of receiving expensive gifts from her alleged boyfriend and extortionist Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
